The beginnings
State Farm Insurance began in 1922, the invention of a man named George J. Mecherle. Mecherle thought it might have happen to a better society than other insurance companies a better service and prices. So he did. Something about the vision Mecherle was right – more than eighty years later, State Farm Insurance is still strong.
“In just 80 years, State Farm Insurance Companies ® has grown from a small farm mutual auto insurer to one of the largest financial institutions in the world. But coupled despite the growth of State Farm, the original philosophy Mecherle insurance cover at a fair price with fair claim settlement remained. ”
